Our lovely hall was built for the community to enjoy in 1925 and it has hosted countless special occasions, celebrations and village events over the years.
The hourly hire rate for the hall is £15.00, this includes exclusive use of the hall, kitchen, car park and garden (weather permitting). The hourly hire rate applies to your set-up and pack-away time and there is also a minimum hire of three hours.
The main hall is approximately 7.2 metres wide and 13.5 metres long, we have disabled access to the hall at the main entrance at the side of the building and a disabled W.C. The car park can facilitate approximately 20 vehicles with parking to the rear, side and front of the building.
The kitchen is fully stocked, with plenty of glasses, cups, saucers, plates and cooking utensils for your use. There is a cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and tea urn.
Hire includes use of the seventy five chairs and nine trestle tables in the cupboard at the hall. We can provide up to eight round event tables with white tablecloths for your special occasion, they comfortably seat eight people and can be hired for £10.00 per table.
Use of the garden area to the side of the hall is included with your hire, unfortunately it is currently undergoing renovation and maintenance work and it will be out of use until January 2021. We can’t wait to post pictures of the garden and for our hirers to begin enjoying it!
Access to the hall is via a key safe by the main entrance. On the day of your hire you will be provided with the code for the safe to obtain the keys and let yourself in.
If you would like to book the hall for a party or event, please select the booking procedure tab from the menu.
