About the Hall facilities
Our lovely hall was built for the community to enjoy in 1925 and it has hosted countless special occasions, celebrations and village events over the years.
The hourly hire rate for the hall is £18 for general and charity hires and £23 for corporate hires.. This includes exclusive use of the hall, kitchen, car park and garden (weather permitting). Please note the hourly hire rate applies to your set-up and pack-away time which must be included in your booking and there is also a minimum hire of three hours.
The main hall is approximately 7.2 metres wide and 13.5 metres long, we have wheelchair access to the hall at the main entrance at the side of the building and an accessible W.C. We can fit a reasonable size bouncy castle in the hall, max 20ft x 20ft but please check with your hire company; many have details of local halls and what castles will fit each hall. The car park can facilitate approximately 20 vehicles with parking to the rear, side and front of the building.
There is heating and air conditioning in the hall which is controlled remotely by an app; these will be set for your hire. We have also installed solar panels which provides us with green energy for our heating and we are working towards being carbon neutral..
The kitchen is fully stocked, with plenty of glasses, cups, saucers, plates and cooking utensils for your use. There is a cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and tea urn. All electrical items are PAT tested.
Hire includes use of approximately seventy chairs and nine trestle tables in the cupboard at the hall. We can provide up to eight round event tables with white tablecloths for your special occasion, they comfortably seat eight people and can be hired for £35.
Access to the hall is via a key safe by the main entrance. On the day of your hire you will be provided with the code for the safe to obtain the keys and let yourself in.
